My dear mummy,
I would like to start this communication with you by telling you who I really am. I know, I know … your first thought is: “What do you mean that you, my darling baby, are going to tell me, your parent, who you really are? I KNOW who you are. You are my baby.” But the truth is that what you are probably thinking is not quite right. I suspect that you are saying to yourself: “you are my child; you are a little being who can neither speak to express your needs nor move towards obtaining them. Therefore, you, my little darling are totally dependent on me, your parent, to see to your every need for survival.” That is only partially true.
The real me goes far beyond this physical little body that is before your eyes. The real me, just like you, is so much more. I would now like to share a secret with you. Actually it is NOT a secret but because it has been forgotten by most of us, I call it a secret. It is something that we are ALL born knowing: each and every one of us is a part of what you might call God, Allah, Universal Intelligence, or any other name that you relate to when you think of a supreme power. The name that you give it does not really matter. What DOES matter is that you understand this; that you become comfortable with the idea. And when THAT happens then you will relax, you will gain confidence in the knowing that all is well with me, with you, with the whole world because of this other, greater part that makes up each and every one of us.
