The Choice is Yours

Well here I am again, after an absolutely fabulous week-end.  But then I am always here.  In my last message I mentioned to you that nothing is more important than that you feel good.  Actually I have referred to the importance of this in every one of my messages.  What is most empowering is for you to realize that you have a choice.  You always have a choice and the more often that you turn your atttention away from something that is not making you feel good and concentrate on a good feeling thought, the more easily that you will be able to do that.  With practice it will become natural to choose a better feeling thought.

Let me give you a tip.  When you are NOT feeling good then focus your attention on something that evokes a feeling of love.  It can be the smile of a loved one, the color of a beautiful flower, the smell of freshly baked bread – the possibilities are infinite.  When you go to that good-feeling place then your heart expands.  See your heart opening right up and radiating out loving energy.  As you do that, you will be overcome with a sense of love which is the exact opposite of a not-so-good feeling.  It has been scientifically proven that your heart is much more than a simple “blood pump”.  It is a processing centre that communicates with the brain influencing its function as well as most of the body’s major organs, ultimately determining your quality of life.

Not-so-good feelings are usually fear based and often triggered by a sense of lack which your thoughts have created.  Your head wants you to look at what is and if you do that then you will only attract more of what is and if what is does not make you feel good then fear kicks in and now you are really in that not-so-good feeling place.  Fear shuts down your immune system and this in turn leaves you open to disease.

I know that this sounds very simplistic and although simple it is not easy to do.  Having said that, if you can train yourself to make the choice, to choose good feeling thoughts, then the effect on all aspects of your life, will be positive.    The choice is yours!

Stay Connected

Yesterday I told you that in order to be completely in your power you need to pay attention to how you feel and always aim to go to that good-feeling place.  How to do this, you may ask.  I will try to illustrate with an example.

Let us suppose that I am “acting up” and you are not able to get me to respond in a way that you would like (or have been told or read somewhere) that I should respond.  So you become anxious.  You judge yourself.  You don’t feel good about yourself.  The not-feeling good is a sign.  It is a sign that your higher self does not agree with you.  In other words, you are being told that all is well, that you are doing fine!  And that you should go back to a good-feeling place, which means to connect with that higher self which some call universal intelligence or God.  It does not matter what name you give to this entity.  It only matters that you acknowledge that is as much a part of you as your physical body.

So … take a deep exaggerated breath and turn your thoughts to something that brings a smile to your face.  It can be something very very simple like thinking about my smile or about the sound of the birds chirping early in the morning or the taste of your favourite ice cream melting in your mouth on a hot summer day.

Think of anything, anything at all.  And the more you practice this, the easier it will become and all of a sudden the curved balls that life throws at you are all a piece of cake.  Feeling good – that is the only thing that you need to remember!

Relax & Connect

I hope that you do not consider me too sassy for having told you in the recent past to just relax, and let go of any fear or anxiety about ANYTHING – about how you are doing as my mommy or anything else that may be a part of your life at this moment.  Maybe I can try to explain why I say these things.

You may recall that I had the audacity to tell you that you (and all of us) are so much more than this physical body; that you are a part of the supreme being that keeps this universe running in perfect order.  For the sake of simplicity I will call that greater part of each of us our higher self.  This higher self is what makes each of us eternal.  It is what makes you loving and a loving person is totally accepting of all that is and if you are accepting of all that is then you feel good and all is well.  It is that simple!

Is this making any sense? When you are not feeling good, like when you are anxious or afraid, making your tummy feel funny, then you are being told that what you are thinking or doing does not match with your higher self; that you, this physical you, at this moment, is not connected with that greater loving eternal you.  It is a sign and you should pay attention: pay attention to it the way that you pay attention to road signs.

Relax, smile and trust in yourself.  Truly believe that all is well.  Every time that you do this you will connect.  Try it.  I promise that you will like how it feels and the situation that has created the anxiety will melt away.
